Ronald Hernández

Business Unit Manager Data Science & Engineering Costa Rica As an Encora global innovation leader, Ronald Hernandez brings over 20 years’ experience in solutions design and software development to clients. Ronald has spent more than a decade pioneering mobile development, helping support the emergence of the iOS and Android platforms (over legacy BlackBerry and Windows platforms).
Ronald focuses primarily on enterprise-level Java web app development, leading and collaborating with a diverse multi-cultural team that spanning the USA, LATAM, Europe and India. Ronald currently co-leads Encora’s Product Engineering Technology Practice.

Ronald spends his free time thinking and learning about algorithms, data structures, programming language theory, distributed systems, highly-scalable architectures, cyber security, ML and IoT. He is also passionate about travelling, music (listening, as well as playing bass and drums), photography and DIY projects. Ronald holds a BS in Computer Science from Tecnologico de Costa Rica.
