André Scandaroli

Software Development Manager Product Engineering Brazil Currently holding the position of Software Development Manager and being a member of the Daitan Technology Council holding the title of DMTS (Distinguished Members of Technical Staff), André is co-responsible for promoting and fostering the excellence of execution in Daitan's Services, assisting in process and architectural reviews, tools & component selection, best practices, etc. to ensure that all teams gain the full advantage of the collective knowledge across Daitan. André has a strong software development and architecture background added to accumulated expertise leading agile teams.

Holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Sao Carlos, working in the software industry since 2001. Gathered experience in software development during 10 years working as a Software Engineer and in the last 10 years as a Software Development Manager. Had broad experience as a developer, ranging from embedded pre-smartphone mobile software to telecom platforms and enterprise applications, playing all roles in the SDLC.

As a Software Development Manager was able to specialize in Agile, acquiring Scrum Alliance Certifications (CSM, CSPO, and A-CSM) and explore several challenging situations where the core values and principles of Agile could be applied.
